Each year a Scout moves up a rank, takes on a little more, and earns the badge to show for it. Here's the path from Lion to Arrow of Light.
Lions are our youngest Scouts. Each Lion is paired with an adult partner, so kindergarten families learn the ropes together through simple, playful adventures.
Tigers are all curiosity. With a partner close by, they start exploring their community, the outdoors, and what it means to be part of a den.
Wolves take on a bit more independence — longer hikes, hands-on projects, and the first taste of earning things through real effort.
Bears get into tools, building, and the outdoors in earnest, learning to do things safely and take pride in doing them well.
Webelos — “We'll Be Loyal Scouts” — bridges the younger dens and the older program, with skills that point toward Scouts BSA.
The highest rank in Cub Scouting, and the one that carries over into Scouts BSA. Arrow of Light Scouts get ready to cross over to Troop 794.
